Maruti Suzuki is renowned for manufacturing first rate engines, and the same will be transformed into YBA compact SUV. According to reports the car is likely to be fitted with 1.5 litre diesel engine a chopped version of the 1.6 litre JTD mill. The 1.5 litre diesel mill is expected to yield fierce energies that go beyond 100bhp. Sources say the firm may use a 1.3 litre DDiS diesel mill that yields 90bhp and the same engine which is used on the Ciaz and Ertiga.

The expected mileage of the diesel car is 22 KMPL and the petrol model to return close to 15 KMPL
