Suzuki Splash
Suzuki Splash: The Suzuki Splash will make its world premiere at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt in September. Sales of the car with its excellent ride comfort will start in early 2008. It is offered with two different petrol engines: a 1.0-liter three-cylinder, 12 valve, with a maximum power of 48kW (65hp) and a 1.2-liter four-cylinder, 16 valve unit with maximum power of 63 kW (86 PS).
With these engines, low friction and plentiful flat torque at low revs and medium speed range to ensure good driveability across the rev range while promoting fuel economy and CO2 emissions. Customers who prefer a diesel engine can choose a proven 1.3-liter common-rail 16-valve unit with optional particulate filter and a maximum power of 55kW (75HP). Given the growing need for environmental compatibility, emissions of all three engines are 5-speed manual transmission only between 120g/km and 140g/km.

The firm is now gearing into a new line of design developing the YBA compact SUV. Maruti Suzuki is renowned for manufacturing first rate engines, and the same will be transformed into YBA compact SUV. According to reports the car is likely to be fitted with 1.5 litre diesel engine a chopped version of the 1.6 litre JTD mill. The 1.5 litre diesel mill is expected to yield fierce energies that go beyond 100bhp. Sources say the firm may use a 1.3 litre DDiS diesel mill that yields 90bhp and the same engine which is used on the Ciaz and Ertiga.
